We open the 2023-2024 Season by celebrating the words of women in song. Our first event is Sunday, 9/17 at 5:00pm at Philander Hall, 308 Deer Chase in Dixon. This year is our 40th Anniversary!
Supremely gifted vocal artist Michelle Areyzaga is joined by pianist Dana Brown to perform selections from their latest CD, Were I With Thee. Those who were lucky enough to hear Michelle on previous visits know that she has a heavenly voice and is a gripping and vivid storyteller. Fabulous pianist Dana Brown wowed us earlier this year with his concert of pieces by Rachmaninoff and Gershwin. The songs feature texts by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Emily Dickinson, Dorothy Parker, and others. A reception follows. Seating is limited!
